We are 1-1, kind of like starting a new 15 game season at 0-0.
The season starts next Sunday and we need to win 10 of 15 games.
Will we accomplish this?

I predicted a Saints win, and a loss to the Bills…. so in that way I’m not surprised. However, I am surprised overall by how we’ve looked. Right now we’re lacking any discipline. We are shooting ourselves in the foot with penalties, dumb mistakes, losing contain all over the field - yes I expected some bumps in the road, but I didn’t expect a dumb, undisciplined football team. I think Dan has to get that fixed first and foremost.
Yes injuries, yes terrible defense - these have been constants for us for a while now. But this does not look like a well coached football team and that part so far is actually surprising.

I hate losing. I hate losing on National TV. I hate the group messages from my buddies and family. I hate the freaking out after a bad loss. I hate the calling for this player to be cut or this coach to be fired or Brad to be canned. Lions will go 11-6, 12-5 or 13-4. I am gonna enjoy football. I don’t blame anyone for being frustrated.

Embarrassing. Im a Lions die hard living in Upstate NY and Bills fans have been trash talking me all week…… tonight it was mostly just texts apologizing for how sorry and inept the Lions looked. When the opposing fan base pity’s you, it’s almost worse.

I had the Lions around 11 wins with the easy schedule. Still think they are a low level playoff team.
Starting to lose any faith that Holmes/Dan will elevate the team above what they’ve shown of late. We’ll see. I was always a big Ben Johnson guy. Not sure Dan ever fills those shoes. And they continue to never get the defense right. When you have the shot at being a contender you don’t go the Shep route. You hire a guy you KNOW can compliment your elite offense.

I was exited about Jammo and Teslaa for this season after seeing all the media reports about how good they are doing in practice I forgot they were going against our secondary

I am heartbroken that we are back in this place, just waiting for the GM to be fired. 
I just picture the scene from The Dark Knight when the joker is talking about how he got his scars. Just replace the wife with the Lions.
