But you canāt do his jobā¦.thatās the point. I mean think about this, we are on a message board asking how does a media member still have a job because we donāt like what he has to say. Now is said media member lurking on this board asking āhow are these people allowed to post??ā He still has a job because he is good at what he does and his employer is satisfied with what he doesā¦.its that simple
Surely you donāt live in a world full of people who actually deserved to be in their position? Iād love to know what kind of world that is, cause itās not this one. I havenāt had a single boss one who deserved it. Well, maybe one or two, but the vast majority were detrimental to the task at hand.
But they played the game, kissed their superiorās ass, and when they inevitably did an awful job, blamed someone beneath them and continued to move up.
If everyone in their job deserves it, then why does anyone get fired?
If I am going to give such an opinion then I have to at least know what it takes to perform such job and experience and/or education would be the reason for me having such an opinion. But I donāt typically comment on anyoneās qualifications I just worry about my own. That said if you know you canāt do his job then how do you know he canāt do his job?? You donāt even know what it takes to do his jobā¦all you know is that you donāt like or agree with what he says. But if he couldnāt do his job then he wouldnāt still be doing it all these years.
I have a pretty good idea what it takes to do his job - one of my best friendsā sisters was a correspondent for CNN and now works for the Washington Post.
And itās not me disagreeing with his takes that has me saying this. He is literally worse than a coin flip ATS for his career. Youād be better off guessing that taking his advice. He also has the highest miss rate of all draft analysts over the past ten years.
He is literally bad at his job.
But heās a blowhard who riles people up and that drives engagement, so he keeps the job. Again, as I said in my first post, THIS is the part heās good at, not anything to do with football.
