but Mahomes gave his guys Oakley sunglasses…
and he has an endorsement deal with them….

There is nothing wrong with leveraging your connections to give gifts to the people you work with. I did it myself this Xmas. I gave everyone in the accounting department a gift, but it didn’t cost me anything because I have a relationship with the maker of the product. Everyone in accounting received a custom butt plug.
