Warde Manual was at my house a few weeks ago with my uncle and some guy named AC that played at Michigan with my Grandpa. Apparently Manual and my Grandpa were life long friends.

Yes they were, Charlie talked about that a few times with all the drama going on at UM under Warde.

AC was probably Anthony Carter a WR at UM when I was your age, one of the best to play at UM. A WR at UM when it truly was a three yards and cloud of dust team under Bo. The whole #1 jersey thing originated with him.

Yep! I just googled Anthony Carter and that was definitely him. Thank you for that. I’m going to read up on him tonight when I get home from school.

They both seemed like genuinely good people. Mr. Manual was especially emotional. He hugged my Mom and tears were pouring down his face. You could tell that he cared about my grandpa very much.

I kept expecting Michigan to have Manuel fall on his sword, but then he landed a major upgrade at the coaching position over Moore and the men’s basketball team won the natty while the hockey team went to the semifinals. Hmmm. And if the university can’t prove that he knew about this relationship it takes away the ironclad reason to fire him or make him resign.

Don’t know much about him or his talent level. It seems unless your last name is Manning, having a superstar pops isn’t necessarily indicative of success even at the collegiate level.

AC was a great wr! The prototype for the modern wr. Ahead of his time.

AC was absolutely electric. His touch to TD ratio was insane. Bob Ufer losing his ever lovin mind and honking that horn over an AC punt return I will alwaya hear in my 11 year old brain. .

Warde has to hire krap first for some unknown reason- then actually hire someone good after firing his F-up’s.

It’s his full proof system of hiring coaches apparently. I hope they find some dirt on him.
