It’s amazing how people lament the “waste” of watching 2nd and 3rd string players in preseason, but seldom voice the same concerns in December.

Personally, I was intensely focused on seeing how Bridgewater did. And he didn’t disappoint when he threw that TD pass to Green through a pretty tight window.

Do we view the Raiders backup as a backup when their starter is actually a backup?

He is not a backup. He is starter adjacent.

Wow talk about mailing the season in? Looks like #12 of the Chargers did just that

What’d he do?

Q Johnston should’ve been a 3rd round pick after Rashee Rice, Reed, and the Tenn WR duo

Too soon to start raiders are going to win the divison thread?

Derius Davis caught a punt on like the 8 and started to return it got to about the 12 and decided to run backwards and let the raiders players literally took the ball out of his arms with no fight

The decision to return kickoffs from where the Chargers are returning them is stupid. And the head coach allowing it to happen again and again shows that he doesn’t have a handle on the situation. Special teams coaches dream scenario is that he can shit the bed consistently but get credit for the rare time his unit returns the ball further than a touchback/fair catch. Staley is allowing that kind of mindset to happen on his team.

Seriously though

holy shit that teams is carried so much by herbert its not even funny

That’s not possible. Herbert is not a “vocal” leader.

Does Staley make it til Sunday without getting fired?

This is part of what makes the NFL so fun week to week, and why it is SO HARD to win a bunch of games in a row. Winning teams may get a little “soft.” But losing teams (not the losing Lions teams) have a habit of coming out for some games pissed off like its the Super Bowl.
