I have no doubt they will understand what this guy likes to do and will game plan accordingly. Doesn’t mean the first half won’t look rough – for both teams …
First game or two the Rams will probably have the defensive advantage. Might give us some problems. But it is just one preseason game. If they don’t have the horses, an aggressive defense can be exploited. There will be holes.
Jamo & Gibby run defenders off, Laporta and Ra require attention…the
ol mauls you as Monty gashes them. They are forced to gamble and bring extra heat from other places, which rarely works anyway. Our O will domi-@Nate
I think the biggest question for the Rams D is how will they truly be without Aaron Donald
man ate up double teams and triple teams for breakfast.
Go overtly aggresive? expect to get gashed by the run and short passing game, espically if you dont have the horses in the back (Rams dont have the worse secondary, but when CB1 is Tre’Davious White coming off an Achiles Injury, it does leave some questions in the back.
I think Shula can make some lemonade out of this unit, espically with the front four being what it is currently (Its solid all around), but its the question that will persist for the start of the season, and they are against one of the best Oline units of football to start it off.
We’re gonna have some wars. They’re all pros, they all can get better, they all run a 4.4, while bench pressing a Volkswagen…we will get thier best shot.
but once we demoralize them anyway a few times, it will help restore the balance.
