Shula is more attacking and not forcing guys like Hoecht to cover TEs like LaPorta who the Lions frequently targeted and destroyed.
Hopefully our staff knows shulas tendencies and is prepared because the defense will be very different from last year.
I have no doubt they will understand what this guy likes to do and will game plan accordingly. Doesn’t mean the first half won’t look rough – for both teams … 
First game or two the Rams will probably have the defensive advantage. Might give us some problems. But it is just one preseason game. If they don’t have the horses, an aggressive defense can be exploited. There will be holes.
Every defensive coordinator has a plan until Sewell and Monty punch them in the mouth.
This offense will dictate terms to DCs, not the other way around.

I think the biggest question for the Rams D is how will they truly be without Aaron Donald
man ate up double teams and triple teams for breakfast.
Go overtly aggresive? expect to get gashed by the run and short passing game, espically if you dont have the horses in the back (Rams dont have the worse secondary, but when CB1 is Tre’Davious White coming off an Achiles Injury, it does leave some questions in the back.
I think Shula can make some lemonade out of this unit, espically with the front four being what it is currently (Its solid all around), but its the question that will persist for the start of the season, and they are against one of the best Oline units of football to start it off.

I don’t care what they do. A new DC and no Arron Donald?? They have a lot more questions than our offense does.
