I’m sure Stafford will be fine, but The Rams backup QB is Jimmy G, and he’s suspended for the first 2 games of the season.

If Stafford had to miss week 1, they would have to ride with Stetson Bennett.

William Strannix : Don’t worry about it. These guys are professionals. They can handle twenty Marines, and a hundred cooks.

I’m going to boo the sh!t out of his hamstrings!

I really don’t want Stafford to be injured for the season opener, leaving Stetson Bennett as the starting QB for the Rams.

Yeah, right, who am I kidding…

A hamstring to Stafford is like a mosquito bite for the rest of us! If nothing else, he’s one tough SOB……

Stafford would throw from shotgun from a lawn chair before he would miss a game vs lions week 1.

His oline can move him down the field in the chair.

It doesn’t sound like this will last 3 weeks from initial reports…
but if Stafford was having trouble moving due to a minor strain, I wouldn’t be surprised if the physicians and coaches took the decision out of his hands.

Rams need Stafford healthy to win, and risking further injury to a 36yo hamstring would be reckless.

Winning with Stafford on the road in Detroit for a SNF game isn’t going to be easy if he is healthy. If his mobility is limited by a hamstring injury, they would be crazy to let him play that game.

If he doesn’t play we can still boo his kids.

He’s getting booed again when he comes to Detroit, right?

I actually doubt it. I’m betting this one is the one where they do the clip of all of his highlights, and the crowd loves him.

Unless him not rooting for Detroit in the playoffs really bothered them. But i understood his point

My guess is ā€œyesā€ā€“he gets booed again and/or serenaded with Jared Goff chants.

He didn’t help himself with that. A little like the ā€˜not my style’ when asked if he would work with a mechanics trainer off season

It’s also irritating that days after saying he didn’t cheer for the Lions in the playoffs he’s on TV trying to sell mattresses to Lions fans
