Can he play OT?

Wow. I guess they figured that they were letting Oweh walk. They aren’t exactly overflowing with pass rushers.

Ravens have Mike Green and Ojobo stil for pass rush depth… needed a safety.

Chargers have Molden, Jefferson, Mickens , plenty of guys at safety still.

Khalil Mack and Kyle Hamilton are both injured.

Post Achilles David Ojabo isn’t really a thing, is it? And Mike Green has looked bad so far.

I guess they feel like they can both develop and get better?

Or they value a starting safety much more than a situational pass rusher when they’ve already got a few guys with potential and like you said must have been ready to move on from him in the offseason

we need to find a team with an abundance of CB’s which needs a LB.

Anzalone could return a starting CB, but I think he is too valuable to a team with the capability to win the super bowl like the Lions.

We’re not trading any of our starters.

yeah i was thinking Cunningham, Nowaske or MRod.

Rodrigo would need to get healthy and prove where he’s at. Is there enough time before the deadline? I doubt Cunningham has any real value. Nowaske might since that type is hard to find and the upside is quite high. But for those same reasons I think we’d hate to part with him. To my eye he seems to be developing quite well.

If we make a move it will be with picks. But if the good Arnold news is accurate then we really just need a stopgap. As @Davicus has pointed out we might as well simply sign somebody.

Lions would not trade Campbell or Barnes.

Nowaske, Cunningham, and Stuard would not return a starting CB.

It doesn’t appear as if Holmes is going to give Anzalone the contract he wants so trading him while he has value at trade deadline is possible.

The combination of Barnes, Stuard Cunningham and Nowaske could replace AA.

I don’t think Dan and Shep would want to do it. The LB room is one of the deepest positions on the team (along with DT) and Shep uses them all.

Can they replace his coverage chops? I’m skeptical of that.

Also, I don’t think teams are looking to trade a starting CB unless they’re getting a top 75 pick back. It would have to be a bad team ans what would a couple months of AA do for them?

Ummm no.

I don’t think it is likely, I was just thinking of @JerseyJungle post and how it could play out.

At the trade deadline teams could have specific needs and surpluses.

Also. 3 team trades could be made where everyone gets something they need.

I am sure I am wrong but feels like way more early trades this year before deadline. Or just not as big of a deal early as it is at deadline.

So why in the world would we do that?

His parents missed the golden opportunity to make his first name be, Aweem.

the good news on TA makes it very unlikely. When I posted that, it was more likley that he might be out for the year.
