Mahomes obviously leads/beats Goff in running-but Goff is not known for being a quote ā€œrunning QBā€ Mahomes could run for 10,000 yards and Goff -200ā€¦I could care less.

Mahomes receivers arenā€™t great and their high paid RT has been struggling.

He needs everything to be perfect

Hmm not saying everyone is wrong However i do see a lot of excuses for Mahomes an standard attacks an no breaks for Goff Interesting how that goes on a Lion board.

The anti Goff people hard to call them fans of Lions, will twist, lay in weeds ,praise an excuse other team QBs to put down Goff. I see an read it every week now maybe they lose money gambling an blame Goff. They may enjoy games if they didnā€™t bet on team the say they support.

I wonder just how well KC will do in future his favorite target is getting older . He has a RB would because of his running style miss time every season until they get a quality support RB. They gambled on other WRs after Hill left an it has not worked out great. They do have a tight window on Cap.

If this continues how will Mahomnes do just time will tell.

If he has a year next season like this year in KC you fans will have to find new excuses.

Wasnā€™t perfect and warm on the coldest game in the history of the Panthers stadium last year, and Goff played a GREAT game (without any running game or defensive help).

I was at the game.

To be fair Mahomes has 21 first downs running the ball. That should be included in any comparison.

I will say though Kelce is starting to get old. And KC wrā€™s really canā€™t catch. Shit drops cost them multiple games this year

That game must be summarily ignored when stating that Goff canā€™t play in the cold. Along with dropping a 40 plus dime to Kalif to win at Green Bay in the cold. Or the 67 yard bomb to Watkins in an ice storm

Mentioned the GB game in Reddit a while back and the Goff haters insisted it was over sixty degrees in Green Bay. Which is made up nonsense, it was 21F

Itā€™s like like a religion. When someone wants to believe something facts and data donā€™t matter anymore

Great post brother!!!

I think Mahomes cap is a reasonable 14%. It jumps to something crazy like 24% they are going to struggle to keep talent around him

No fair! That was Big Benā€™s other nickname.

Imagine ifā€¦.

Lions signed a 20M per RT in Taylor
Drafted a C in round 2 with Creed
Signed a record OG contract in Thuney
Signed a vet LT
Drafted other OL in rd 3, 3, 5, 6th

Had a 15M per TE

Spent 10M per contact for WR1
Spent a 2nd rounder on WR2
Spent a 2nd rounder on WR3
Traded a 2nd rounder for WR4??

Drafted RBs in 1, 6, 7

Thatā€™s a shitload of resources in 3-4 years isnā€™t it?

In our minds CEH, Toney, MVS, Moore etc are just bustsā€¦ BUT IN DETROIT WE ARE SURE JAMO ISNT THE ISSUE?

Mahomes has a losing record to Goff despite having the better defense both seasons.

Mahomes has more losses this year, including to Goff, and worse stats.

Mahomes has faced 35 points just 2 times in 47 gamesā€¦ Goff has 11 times!!! Mahomes has faced 12 or less 9 times and Goff just 9ā€¦.

Sometimes the eye ball test does wonders. Mahomes is elite. Goff isā€¦ Goff and itā€™s not elite lol. Stop trying to do mental gymnastics to even raise such a stupid question.

I have read your posts if anyone is doing mental gymnastics its you ā€¦the numbers donā€™t ly You dislike Goff your right but the stats say your wrong it is what it is an no one is saying Goff is great but maybe just maybe the numberā€™s say your wrong

eyeball test in the least reliable method if the goal is objectivity.

Heck most the boards eyeball test thought Joey Harrington was a good QB who only needed more weapons

Really? I donā€™t remember that. I remember making fun of pianos and strawberries.

I agree Yote. If you watch that first game against the Lions, I pin as much of that loss on Mahomes as I do anyone else. I thought he was terrible. Missing guys that were wide-open. Throwing behind guys. Throwing into coverage. Toney got a lot of the blame but if you look, most of those passes were not good. The one that went through his arms and was picked sixed by Branch was the exception.
