I believe it starts with this team is just to soft when they are matched with physical teams. All this size and they won’t stand up against the more physical teams.
That’s where my mind starts with the issues. Then defensive issues.
When you play not to lose, you usually lose. I didn’t see last night’s game, but against the Wild they were just sitting in their own zone.
Probably with the wings is their def is below average, and same with goaltending. Yzerman needs to fix that issue fast. Scoring is there with the 3 big boys.
They did win the game, you know.
They blew the leads, and that doesn’t feel good, but they did earn 3 points out of a possible 4 the last 2 games.

Yes. You have to get a 2 goal lead in order to lose it.
They gave been playing a 50 minute game but the extended layoff might be a reason
Bad news is that they lost 2 forwards on the weekend. Not star players but they will still be hard to replace.
Home and home series with Columbus later this week will be important
