The Wings also signed Lucas Raymond to an extension a couple days ago.

Could be a dangerous team once they get the goaltending sorted out. Hopefully the young kid at Michigan State ends up being a legit NHL goalie, he seems to be pretty good so far.

Wings still need a goalie.
Hoping Cossa will eventually be the guy.

Can one of you guys correct me if i’m wrong?
Isn’t the MSU goalie that was lights out last year a Wings draft pick?

If they could get a formidable 1-2 punch out of those young goalies they have a great chance to become an annual playoff team again.

I feel like it’s coming.
They were so close last year. I feel like Stevie Y is building the team the right way.

Detroit Sports are on the rebound finally.
Now if we could just get the Pistons relevant again…

We will probably be waiting a while on that one.

Unless we get the #1 overall pick in the next draft. Cooper Flagg is one of those franchise changing players (imo).

Well with the pistons luck they will have the worst record and pick #5 again.
unreal.

Absolutely incredible deals that will age incredibly well for both Mo and Ray. Especially when they start deploying Seider properly.

Speaking of goalies, I have a hard time believing they’ll carry 4 tenders into the season, and Lyon is now waiver eligible.

I anticipate a trade. That, or they risk losing someone while trying to send them down to GR.

Lyon is a good dude and a decent backup-level goalie, and there are a few teams that he’d fit in well with. Might be something there.

Now lets hope those deals play out.
