Seems excessive if it was for roids. More likely he was piping grannies. Comatose grannies is a full year.

Guys that have been suspended that long were typically gambling or fairly significant legal issues…. but I don’t see any news of an arrest.
This is what it says on the transaction wire:
Free Agent Tracy Walker, DB, Louisiana-Lafayette, has been suspended by the Commissioner for the first twelve games of the 2025 season. He is eligible to sign and participate in all preseason activities, including games; his suspension will take effect as of the roster reduction to 53 players.
I agree with @Phunnypharm, probably gambling or legal.

I agree… He was never the same after the achilles tear… Just was surprised to see his suspension being news worthy. NFL network had it running
