Always thought Jake had close to the same look on his face as Dan Akroyd in Ghostbusters when he was getting sucked off by a ghost.

Wonder why they took so long?

They Tendered all their other ERFAs day1

Maybe still working out a long term deal.

Bates was their only ERFA and you can’t tender a player until the first day of the league year.

My mistake yes. All the other ERFAs were PS guys so technically SFAs. I stand corrected

Actually, there were three others, but they signed a futures contract in January (Whiteside, Saylors, Niese). The only difference than getting a tender. The only difference is ERFA tenders can’t have split contracts where futures contracts can.
