Belichick is in new territory. He hasn’t had to deal with a 1st Round bust at QB in almost forever.

I’m not sure if it’s a “bust” as the real “bust” is coaching. It’s actually similar to when Tua came out. Tua looked like he was veering towards bust territory his first 2 seasons under Brian Flores as the HC. When coaching changed and he got much better coaching, he’s looking like a top 10 QB.
The Patriots don’t know how to develop a young QB and it’s clear that the QB coach position was just a formality for years when Brady was there.
I’d expect Mac Jones to have a nice career elsewhere. If he ends up in Minnesota I’d imagine he’ll look a bit better than he does now.
Coaching may be an issue but I just don’t see it with Mac Jones.
