Not sure why Muncy would be upset, he flat out missed it.
Muncy misplayed it(tough catch) Peete was within his rights. Rodney didn’t reach into the field.
Not that you were suggesting any of this.
I see Holly has aged about five minutes in 30 years; stunning as always.
I had a cat named Rodney after Rodney Peete in the 90’s up until 2003. Sad that I remember him most for overthrowing a sure TD in the end zone on a deep pass in Tampa Bay one year.
Jump street days…
Mmmm… the original Detroit quarterback hot wife.
When did your cat… oh you meant, nvm
A lot of fans upset claiming Pete interfered. Some journalists even claiming Pete stole the ball before Muncy had a chance to catch it. The total opposite of what really happened.
I do not think Pete interfered but I could see Muncy claiming had Pete stayed clear he would have caught it. Fans are claiming Pete distracted Muncy by his actions.
Personally I don’t think Muncy was catching that ball and had Pete not caught it that ball might have hit someone. I see nothing wrong with what Pete did.
I dont see any interference. He didnt touch his glove or obstruct him in any way.
Like @DeadStroke said, Muncy simply missed the catch. Didn’t even deflect the path of the ball.
Agree, I didn’t think Muncy was catching that one either.
Muncy had a hard time catching anything. He should just focus on hitting .215 with 22 bombs and 35 missed games like his normal season.
That’s Max Muncy Dodger, not Max Muncy, Sacramento Athletic. Somehow unrelated.
Reminds me of this little gem-
Only 2 guys have ever had the last name Moyer in MLB
Ed Moyer, who played in the 1910s and died on 11/18/62, and Jamie Moyer, who was born on 11/18/62.
Living in the UK, I highly approve of this thread title. Adding in Holly is just a bonus.
