Roger McCreary is a Lion

I like McCreary. Keep in mind he was traded by the Titans, who then opted not to sign him. The Rams barely played him and then chose not to re-sign him.

I’m glad the Lions have him - they need all the experienced bodies they can get. But this is also a pretty modest signing let’s be real.

Damn you had McCreary penciled in as our starting nickel 3 days ago.

They expected Kerby to be fine last year - just needed some rest they said. So confident in fact they didn’t put him on IR. Taking the Lions confidence in Kerby as some sign he’s going to be “fine” has proven risky. Just pointing that out.

Khalil Dorsey too.

I’d like to see a safety with a bit more pedigree added in case Branch and / or Joseph can’t play this year, but the DB room looks pretty solid overall.

I’m not sure if it is possible… but would be great if a few vets would agree to terms … but also agree to to sign after the draft so they don’t cost the Lions to lose comp picks.

We need another DB, that can play CB imo. I’m low on Arnold, up to this point the dude hasn’t been very good & Rakestraw (who I’m high on talent wise) has yet to sniff the field due to injuries.

Any CB’s that we might be able to draft in the 2nd round? After we hopefully draft a OT in the first

I could see Graham signing here. He is from Detroit.

I think Itzen starting at strong safety opening night

Also Rock Ya Sin was supposed to play some safety last year.

I have reserved the 1st and 2nd for OT and DE in either order. There are 2 CBs that are projected as 4th rounders right now that I like a lot even if we have to package a pick with a 4th to move up. They are both bigger and well rehearsed in press man coverage.

Julian Neal from Arkansas 6’2” 203 and runs a 4.49 he is also very aggressive in run support. If for some reason he can’t hold up at CB I’m sure he would have a home at Safety.

Daylen Everette from Georgia 6’1” 196 and runs a 4.38 A 4 year starter with the Bulldogs and he has been matched with the best the SEC had to offer in some big games. There were som questions about his long speed so after running the 4.38 at the combine he could be looked at as a day 2 pick now.

These guys are both big and sturdy outside CBs that have played man coverage and did it against top competition. In fact if it cost a 4th and a 5th for each one I’d take them both.

Perfect NB for the Lions… Let Brad cook

My perception is that he’s stickier in man than Amik but not nearly the playmaker.

Sounds like a good pickup.

I am too excited about the prospect of landing Cam Jordan. It starts and ends there for me for the rest of this offseason. I want him more than Bosa. I love that he doesn’t miss games. I wouldn’t even hate Calais Campbell for the same reason.
