Pretty wild that the per team salary cap is going to exceed the gross gdp of several sovereign nations. When you look around the league and see how much some of these contracts are worth, it kinda makes you leery about sinking a quarter of your cap into one guy. Choose wrong and you’re crippling your own team for years to come.

I would sign Goff to a 3-4 year deal this offseason just because rates are only going to go up. By year 3 I bet his deal would be considered a bargain again.
At that point we would also have to make a decision on Hooker.

So 6.76% is a BIT higher than normal but nothing crazy.
