My favorite play is they got Monty stopped at the 15 yardline…then Sewell and the fellas literally push Monty for 6 more yards to the 9 yard line. Saw that live but even better in slow motion.

No comment about the 1st song? Are you sure you’re Canadian?

Isn’t it Christmas year round there? I was there as a kid…and Jiggle Bells in August was playing everywhere. No wonder they started a rock band

Yep, pretty much, you can get the best thanksgiving dinner any time of year at the Bavarian Inn or Zehnders

Very bizarre…what’s the story behind that?

It’s their tourist schtick… It’s honestly a great deal, like $30 per person but the dishes are endless… Turkey, stuffing, egg noodles soup, pasta salad, veggies… Finish the plate and they’ll bring you another, then you can pack that up for another full meal of leftovers

Honestly, not sure how it really started. But Zehnder’s and the Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Restaurant seat 1,500 and 1,200 people, respectively. They are both among the largest restaurants in the US.

It’s Christmas all year round because of Bronner- the world’s largest Christmas store. It’s 7.35 acres in size, and all Christmas.

The rest of the town is similarly touristy- fudge, toffee, hand-made clocks, the Woolen Mill, etc… It’s super touristy, but not too terribly cliche. In the grand scheme of tourist traps, it’s pretty darn nice.

Ok the Monty run at the 7:55 mark is one of the best runs I have seen in a very long time. It is literally a training video on how to run the hole and read the blocks.
Dude literally hesitates/stops at the point of attack. Waits for the blocks to either clear or settle in and then bursts through the hole where he is met at the 5 yard mark but he then steps through a guy lunging for his legs while he gives the guy going high the stanky shoulder treatment and keeps going. In slo mo some of these runs are just amazing.

Also, it was discussed about Goff and accuracy. But I have yet to see a throw in that crappy weather that he did not put on the receivers BODY. He did not throw to a bunch of windows where the guys had to stretch out. He kept the balls on the body so they could better manage the catch in that raining windy weather. This again is training video level stuff. I need to re-watch the whole game but it feels like he did not ask anyone to catch a ball 2 feet from their body with hands only. And I know in other games he is stretching guys out to keep it away from defenders. A true master class of QB play. He is truly an old school master. I am not sure why you watch football if you can not appreciate how he plays the position.

I’m in. Gonna fast for 3 days and make them ■■■■■■■ pay… Who’s in? A couple of gummies 1 hour before too. :joy: Really get the stomach growling.

Being so close to Birch Run it makes sense. Shop until you drop and then go eat like a king.

I remember going to Tony’s in Birch Run… That place was pretty wild too. Biggest BLT I ever saw.

Yeah he’s one hell of a back and I think a lot of fans under rate how good he really is.

Especially when we first got him. I think he’s changing that belief though.

Just to beat the horse.
He is really really good. I would say that he is better at running between the tackles than any back in my Lions history. And that includes Sims and Barry. Sims was more of a sweep guy who liked to get it deep and run to day light. And Barry was unique. But Monty is the first back I can remember for the Lions that will get that yard. Honestly, he is much better than Gibbs at getting a yard.
