This is awesome!
I saw somewhere that they plan to wear a winged helmet as well.
I am extremely conflicted right now.
My dad and I had joked about going to the game, but we said we couldn’t stand being fans of the away team in Ohio Stadium.
I am still extremely conflicted and confused.
Seeing the shoe filled with blue is going to be extremely weird.
Question, how does someone become a Lions/Red Wings, and OSU fan?
28 degrees, perfect weather for an outside game. Not bitter cold, but cold enough that bad ice doesn’t become a factor. Hardest part usually falls on the goalies if all other conditions are good. Tracking the puck in different lighting
My dad is from Toledo and went to OSU. He grew up listening to Detroit games on the radio since Detroit is closer than Cleveland, and became a fan that way.
I just picked up all of his teams.
I’d say Toledo is about 55% OSU fans, 35% Michigan fans, and 10% Notre Dame fans…and then it’s about 65-35 Detroit/Cleveland in pro sports.
Different game but MSU wins the big ten championship in hockey
Thank god MSU’s goalie got drafted by the Red Wings, he’s going to be the fulcrum turning point
Highway ROBBERY!!!
TWO games against these ■■■■■■■ and we can’t get a SINGLE POINT!!!
I’m ■■■■■■■ PISSED right now.
Wings should get a real goaltender.
Me too. That was the worst officiated NHL game I’ve ever seen just due to the non call on the high stick that literally resulted in the game winning goal! How does the ref miss a high stick in the face, while ripping the player to the ice, and then scoring??? There is no GW goal without ripping the player down with a high stick to the face.
Properly officiated that is very likely a 4 point swing in the standings. The Wings were dominating play in the 3rd period, have a very good power play, and should have been closing out the game with a GW goal on the power play.
I wonder who the gm is.
In the NHL you can actually axe someone in the face, so long as you don’t draw blood you’re good to go
