Im not sure, but I plan on watching it soon. Phil Hartman, was comedy gold in that series too.

His Dilbert comics were like a predecessor to the movie, Office Space. The sheer stupidity and mindlessness of corporate culture revealed. It was hilarious and on point.

I’m not familiar with these but I know my nephew is thrilled about this, he’s in the medical community in Jville.

This is a huge development for Florida. We will be the first and only state to have a carbon ion therapy program for treatment-resistant and aggressive cancers. Patients currently have to travel to Asia or Europe for these treatments; soon they’ll be at

He had the less common and less deadly type of pancreatic cancer, a neuroendocrine tumor. Most pancreatic cancers are adenocarcinomas that metastasize quickly and have a high recurrence rate even if the entire tumor is removed. Neuroendocrine tumors grow slowly and can be successfully cured by complete surgical removal. Unfortunately Jobs decided to pursue holistic care instead of surgery from the start. During that time the tumor progressed to the point where complete resection was not possible. He did eventually have surgery and I believe chemo, but you generally can’t cure neuroendocrine cancers after they metastasize. Patients can however live for years with routine treatments because of how slowly neuroendocrine cancers tend to progress.

TL:DR- If your surgeon tells you your tumor can be resected then you should have that rat bastard cut out of you. Getting chemo and radiation for the sake of extending your life is a difficult decision with no obvious answer.

Adams also released a lot of stories that were emailed to him by readers even if he didn’t use them in the comic. One in particular that I remember was from an office where they used rivers for the names of their projects. Senior management was livid when they heard about Project Volga and had to be told that there is a river in Russia named the Volga and it has absolutely nothing to do with the vulva.

Your eagerness to make it a semantics argument is entertaining… The fact that so many people are triggered by another person taking drug for an off label treatment really shows me people’s true colors… Bc it’s THAT drug, rather than any other

Didn’t know that. That is sad for him and for the world.

I don’t want to get into the politics of it but for some of us it’s simply skepticism over the idea of repurposing a SKU at a farm supply store for life saving medical treatment.

Dude, that is literally what you did

It is entirely irrelevant that the scientists who discovered avermectin and derived ivermectin as a novel antihelminth won the Nobel for their work in this context. My response had nothing to do with it being ivermectin specifically, but rather your intentional misinformation.

I am not triggered that Adams took ivermectin. I am not triggered that you wouldn’t choose traditional therapies for a malignancy if you had to make that choice. I am exceedingly bothered though by anyone who claims that any drug has properties that have never been demonstrated and try to legitimize their use for that purpose

Even Adams disavowed his alternative therapies

Yes, that farm drug that was given to 2 billion people and earned a novel prize :man_facepalming: you’re better than that

It has done wonders for humans prior to 2020

In Africa, onchocerciasis has caused whole communities to abandon their riverside villages and fertile farmland.

Ivermectin proved a powerful and blessedly simple preventive. “It is so easy to give,” said Dr. Campbell. One dose, given in pill form once or twice a year, made it possible to call together all village residents and treat them as a community. “It changed the face of public health drug delivery,” he said.

2 Billion people use it for Oncology treatment?

I skimmed the article. Didn’t see anything about it shrinking of killing cancerous tumors. I had thought that is what was being discussed.

Nevermind.
Shouldn’t have entered the discussion,

Edit:
I was specifically responding to your going to a farm store for life saving treatment, when that farm store drug has in fact saved lives.

Fair enough. I guess I should have been more specific a stated “cancer fighting” rather than life saving.

I really didn’t want to go down this road anyhow which is why my first response was so simple and straightforward. When someone loses their life my political leanings aren’t of importance.

2 billion people got it from a farm store? Or do you think it was doctor prescribed? Again, you’re better than this
