Seahawks' starting QB job might be up for grabs after new coach declines to commit to Geno Smith

Just preparing their fanbase for their drafting of Penix.

Geno was never the long term solution for the Seahawks

they are a wildcard imo coming into this draft, outside of WR and RB, they could go for anything else in the 1st

Geno will be 34 years old next season. Which as we are told by some fans is 3 years older than Goff will be when he is washed up and needs to be replaced.

I love Geno’s story and how he stuck with it and gets to end his career with people having a different perception of him. But NOT looking for the next QB would be general management malpractice.

I have always liked Geno more than most…(my perception anyway)

I would love to see them get involved in a T’Burskie-sorta mishap. LOL

Don’t forget their head coach was also at UM while JJ was there, it’s a longshot for sure but there is a connection. McDonald also understands what Harbaugh wanted from JJ and how he was utilized vs what he can acutally do in an offense.

Yeah but their new OC just coached Penix, and they won’t have to use any capital to trade up and get him like they would for McCarthy.
