Junior Tafuno is a DT who is definitely gonna be on our board. Average athlete but strong as an ox, and just one of those winners. Plus a captain, multiple time all conference, leader of the defense type.

Zabel is still awesome, Jones just got him a couple of times. Jones is a big edge like Ivey, but he’s actually much better inside. Excellent penetrator. The problem is he can’t hold up there full time, and at edge he’s a little slow-footed (though he also has a pressure from out there during the game). He’s just kind of a guy without a position, but he fits our big edge, Darius Robinson type mold. Don’t know anything about his character.

Yeah, maybe so. Personally I vehemently disagree with it, but I also get it. Teams are desperate for QBs, and he’s the type of guy who’s easy to talk yourself into. Especially the way he’s supposed to crush the interviews.
Personally I HATE the way he handles pressure… I mean he basically threw 4 straight picks against Florida, I’ve never seen anything like it. But I don’t think Sanders or Ward are that great either. I have Sanders the highest, but only a 2nd rounder overall.

I watched those back 2 back picks at the end and they were pretty bad, that last one specifically was horrific.
I think he has some tools. He’s not a sure thing though, like you mention though, some team will overdraft him to get that fifth year. He might be a good trade down, if Brad wants to collect some picks and drop back to early second.
Lions are going to love Bech I think. Big, blocks, safety valve.
We are, but so is everyone else. And he’s not really a glove fit with our current corps.

hes similar to Hendon Hooker, just not that old as a prospect
comes from a one read system, rarely plays from the pocket, etc.
Maybe Tre Harris getting injured really just nuked Ole Miss’s offense that bad, but it was startling how Dart just fell apart the second half of the season.
Yeah the tools are why he’s being talked about. Good arm, good athleticism. Accurate. Also tough and a leader.
But we miss on QB more often than not because of the mental stuff, and to me I’m just not sure Dart has it. He MAY, that offense didn’t do him any favors as far as seeing him go through progressions, etc… but it’s basically a guess right now. And I’d just be more comfortable letting someone else take that risk.
I do hope he goes to a team that lets him sit for a while. He’s got a ton of concepts to learn.
