About 10 years ago… we had a poor SOB come in to the E.R. who had lit a M-80, only to have it explode before he could throw it.
His hand looked somewhat like this on the X-ray.
His hand was separated right down the middle in the same manner, and it was “de-gloved”. That term means the skin was completely separated (and missing) from his hand.

Moral of the story…. don’t risk your entire quality of life to ignite high explosives made in China. It really isn’t worth it when some other person will pay for them and light them off nearby.

who de ■■■■said I was a bigfoot expert ? I stuck my neck out in here with the topic, for two reasons: A- it was damn slow up in here for offseason topics. and B- I stated that " I " am a believer in Bigfoot due to the fact they have been alive since biblical times and before that. and far too many people know about them, had encounters, interacted with them, and have gathered: casts of their footprints, scat, hair, skin samples, photo’s, video’s, DNA and EDNA samples, and if you think our GOV doesn’t KNOW about them? your a moron. that said-you can keep on making jokes and doubting their existence, doesn’t bother me/ no skin off my balls- I wasn’t put on this Earth to prove a damn thing OR make skeptics believe.

I’ve gotten into the habit of bringing along an old, XL size travel mug in case I have no choice but to urinate sitting in the car. Now, I don’t worry about long drives.

I can tell you that Alpena is packed! We went out shrooming and drove back through town about 4:30 and every restaurant was packed. The beaches were packed. Traffic was crazy…and, it’s supposed to rain this weekend.
I can’t imagine if we be were going to have good weather. If you’re coming up, be safe on the roads.
Btw, the wifey did pretty good! Golden Chanterelles! Just finished burgers with onion and fresh mushrooms. Yum!
