Should they? No. Even if Staff goes down and Cam salvages enough games to get us to a WC birth, he’s not the future. If staff goes down it should be tank for # 1
Will they? Hmmm I dunno. Our starter has a bad back, our gm and coach are In a make or break year. If staff goes down, cam could save Patricia’s considerable bacon.
Cam isn’t a horrible QB , better than any back up we have had in ages. my biggest complaints???
A. 60 % completion (career).
B. Money he would eat VS getting some extra yet good D players.
Is he?
As he’s aged he’s become less mobile. Once he wasn’t as effective running the football he was forced to rely on his arm more and he falls short with a low completion percentage.
I think we’re better off using the money to sign a FA DL.
I don’t think he’s the same QB he was 5 years ago and I think he’s declining.
