Watch games. Usually you can find ā€œXā€ offense vs ā€œYā€ defense. Try and watch the games against the best competition.

Highlights may bring someone to my attention and then I dig deeper and put them on the ā€œlike, OK, don’t likeā€ list.

Many players people seem to like a lot are on my ā€œdon’t likeā€ list. I’ll make a comment like ā€œI’d possibly take him in the 3rd roundā€. People go crazy…until he’s taken in the 3rd round and ends up being a waste of time.

With all the technology out there, and information so readily available… the draft gets more and more predictable. That said, some guys seem to remain ranked ā€œtoo highā€ or ā€œtoo lowā€ despite the smoke and noise to the contrary. There are lots of guys likely to go far lower than expectations, and many who will go a few ā€œroundsā€ (not just picks) higher.

IE-

Higher:

J Dart
Jayden Higgins
Jared Wilson
Jaylin Noel
Nic Scourton
E Roberts
Darius Alexander
Jared Wilson
Tate Ratledge
Ezeiruaku
Harmon
T Harris
Conerly Jr
J Farmer
K Grant
Femi
Max Hairston
K Winston
G Zabel

Fallers:

Jack Sawyer
AZ Thomas
Kennard
J Burch
Deone Walker
Norman-Lott
Pearce
L Burden
J Walker

I think these guys could 15-45 picks off where projections were 30-60 days ago easily.

For example many reporters have mentioned Pearce falling like a rock, and yet mocks keep putting him in the mid to later first round. I wouldn’t be shocked by round 3 or later…

I’m not sure why Wilson was ever ranked so low, but his combine and measurements should have him as an early to mid second rounder and he’s holding steady at mid to late round 3 in rankings?

It would be hard for me to see Burden being a better pro that Harris, Noel, or Higgins. I could see him go ahead of a few of them, but I wouldn’t be shocked if he went mid 2.

The situation matters. In fantasy parlance, don’t design your WR dynasty wish list until AFTER the draft.

I knew he was gonna skyrocket once the Senior Bowl happened. The draft media really gets a boner for super-separators during the process, and he’s one of those. Just like Dieonte Johnson, Skyy Moore, Jacob Cowing, Tank Dell, etc… Sometimes they hit like Dell, but they usually put up big numbers in college too. Like if I’m taking a separator in this class, it’s Tez Johnson, no matter what he weighs.

Renner has him 38. Some of it is that guys will be artificially high to make a point.

That’s one of Renner’s bigger blind spots imo. He was leading the Deionte Johnson and Skyy Moore hype trains as well. I think the community has become overly focused on separation numbers and route running, especially when so many NFL studs had them listed as question marks coming into the league. Guys like Puka, Metcalf, even Davante Adams, which sounds surprising now but was a big question then. Hell it was listed as a question on ARSB’s scouting reports.

10000% agree brother. I pick #1, #10, #11 and #13 (2nd) in a dynasty draft that began in AP and Lynch’s rookie year….

I won 5 of the first 13 but it’s been a drought and rebuild for the past 5…. I landed Laporta (TE friendly scoring), Brian Thomas, T Spears the past few, but I think I missed on Leggett and J Brooks… still have hope for Franklin.

Would you take Jeanty 100% at #1, or could Hampton pass him depending on where he ends up?

I really like J Higgins, and Loveland towards the end of round 1….

Any other RBs you think could be dark horses to be a home run starter?

Yes I watch these but they don’t become available until a month before the draft. I’ve just started finding them.

Caddy’s cut ups is the best, but it might take a while to get cleared right now. Definitely his busiest time of the year.

Yeah, if Tez Johnson is there in the sixth round, I wouldn’t mind taking a flyer on him. I know he ran slower than expected so maybe that would happen, but he doesnt look slow on the field at all. We aren’t in the market for a slot WR really, but man he is getting overlooked. He might be real fun paired with JAMO.

I think he still goes high. Tutu and Tank still went high despite being so small, and Tank wasn’t much faster than Tez (4.49).

I still like Teslaa in the draft

I prefer deisel to electric. Teslas are such cool technology, but they’re ugly, IMO. If Brad goes for one, I’m behind it.

About a year ago, my buddy bought a mid-sized diesel Chevy. Looks awesome. Comes with great ground clearance stock, and looks pretty tough, ā€œas is,ā€ but he modified a lot too. congrats on the new wheels, bro! I’m still driving a Camry. My Silverado got stolen about 2 years ago.

It will be end of this year.
I’m driving a Durango with 267,000 miles on it just miss the bigger vehicle and love the diesel mpg. Several friends drive diesels, different makes, and all love them.
