So who is your 2025 Detroit Lions MVP?

Despite missing the playoffs.

Jack Campbell baby!

I had to think for a bit and no one came to mind as having a standout season, oof. But you’re right, Jack certainly did. He’s becoming elite right before our eyes.

Ra had another great year on his way to a yellow jacket. But the drops kinda rankle too, although we know it was injury-related. Still, affected the outcome of games and we missed the playoffs by a nose.

Everyone else, apart from Fox, had an average or below year. Goff was fine overall, but a notch down and that has to do with the OL to some degree.

So, Captain Jack it is.

I am going to say Gibbs. I would really hate to see how our offense would have ended up without some of his plays this year. Also just wanted to toss out a different name though love the leap Jack Campbell made as well.

Defensive MVP is obviously Campbell

Offensive MVP is Jared Goff

This is obvious.

And then overall Goff. He is the straw that stirs the Lions.

We need to be putting respect on his name.

When you have Ra and Gibbs and Laporta on your team and you produce 65 receptions for 1117 yards and 7 TDs

After campbell took over

44 receptions out of 66 targets for 762 yards and 4 TDs

Before Campbell

21 receptions on 36 Targets for 355 Yards and 3 TDs

Take Dan’s playcalling over a 17 game period and Jamo would of ended up with 82 receptions 124 targets 1439 yards 8 TDs

Right! As much as everyone complained about us continuing to run it up the gut.. no one was complaining when Gibbs was taking it to the house consistently.

And those complaining about not getting Monty snaps didn’t realize that our run game stink and so we rolled with Gibbs because atleast he gave us the threat of the home run.. since our linemen had our backs getting tackled behind the line consistently.

Without Gibbs we win 6 games MAX if even

The fans. Were the only ones who showed up all season.

Most fans did not show up the last week, they wanted to lose for a better draft pick. However, the players did show up week 18.

The concept of MVP is antithetical to the way this team plays. Too many guys are important.

Goff is obviously the hardest to replace, but guys like ARSB, Captain Jack, Branch, Kerby, etc. are all studs who contribute greatly.

Goff is easily the most valuable player on the team last year, despite some of his off games.

Hutch was clearly the best player on defense last year, even though some think he could have done a little more and he did disappear for a small stretch late in the season.

Campbell probably took the biggest jump on the team, especially on defense.

Jamo took the biggest jump on the offensive side of the ball, especially when Dan started calling plays.

Terrion, Alim, and Mahogany were probably my biggest disappointments. All three could be partly/mostly attributed to injury issues though.

I thought Terrion showed flashes this year.

I think Jared Goff had his best season as a Lion, personally.
