Sorsby Lions interest?

as a person in recovery, one of the biggest obstacle is - was others wanting to judge me by my past only….. even with 23 years clean and sober.

if they think he is worth is, do it!

my commander took a chance on a E5, with 11 years in, who was ■■■■■■ up on the insides, in 2000 and I retired honorably with 21 yrs as a E7….. give the dude a chance and lets not judge somone on only thier mistakes

bs. Everything that I’ve seen has him as an early 1st round pick. Kid is a dummy but the dude can play.

Oh I wouldn’t bet a red cent that we’ll put in for him, I just don’t think we’ll be out based on his red flags necessarily (though we might be, certainly). But overall we’re just too conservative to pony up what I think it will take to get him, even if we’re interested.

I don’t think we’d bother at all with that. I think we’re probably just doing due diligence and someone got wind of it, maybe with a level of surprise since they’d all assume we wouldn’t go for him because of the gambling issues.

I’d watch for the Colts here. Ballard and that scouting Dept. famously scout to the peaks and traits, they likely want to:

a: get off of the Danny Dimes experience when they can
b: would like that type of skillset bc of Steichen
c: the Sauce trade puts them out of the top tier QB hunt next draft

He has traditionally been more forgiving of red flags as well. They’ll definitely be a team to consider. That said Sorsby having done the bulk of his worst gambling when he played for Indiana might give them a little extra pause. Not sure what the locals will think.

I’m all for a redemption project and if he was legit a first round round QB, I would consider offering a 3rd in the supplemental draft. I don’t think he should be banished forever but at the same time, this is just another example of the fine line being “walked” with all pro sports now, if you believe they are tightrope walkers at all

When have the way too early draft projections ever been accurate? They are just based on hype.
