No wonder I put an Art Schlichter comp on him.

No players gamble college football. Nothing to see here lol.
Hmmm… they can’t come after Mestemaker any time soon, can they? Is there still a summer transfer window?
Don’t gamble. Don’t do drugs. Don’t drive drunk. It’s not that hard.
It is if you are stupid.

Not hard but also not all that much fun. ![]()
Beat me to it. Were like Degenerate Voltron.
He can have all the fun he wants after he signs his big fat contract. Doing it while in college when it can cost you millions is dumb.
Here’s the thing about college kids… they’re usually dumb. Except for @HSVLion. That’s why until two years ago we all thought he was 81 years old.
I’ve always had the mindset of (and parented this way as well)… You can do anything, in moderation… Never too much or too frequently

Anyone who thinks this is an authentic break has severe special needs
If anyone doesn’t think players, refs, and coaches don’t gamble on games and manipulate outcomes, I have an island in the pacific to sell you! Great example from this year lol
It’s unfortunately as addictive as anything and can hurt a lot of people, families and lives
Thats sad. Reminds me of that movie The Last Boyscout.
Agreed brother. That’s the thing that really bothers me about sports is the never ending gambling angles. The Lions had several players gambling on nfl games while playing in the league just 2 years ago. Sure they were all suspended. But zero chance they were the only guys. Love how they go after scrubs but almost never good players. Just so obvious
Becoming an IQ test at this point.
Yeah man… it sucks. And really it’s nothing new, I don’t think legalized gambling spurred all of it but now it’s just in the open. And not limited to football of course - it has firm roots in all the sports. You are absolutely correct about them only going after scrubs, perfect example Ohtani. It was his translator right? Uh huh..
I always give my translators access to several millions of dollars and all my bank account passwords. That’s standard practice haha
Thanks for keeping it real @DetroitStrong that’s why I missed you so much around here. Common sense ain’t very common anymore
Cheers my friend

My introduction to Halle Berry.
Jungle Fever for me!
Man that came on the other day and it’s wild how many people who would go on to be famous in that one. Gus Fring was a homeless dude. Charlie Murphy played a guy called Livin’ Large lol. Tim Robbins was in it. Queen Latifah. Christopher from the Sopranos. Pre-Barton-Fink (but post-Miller’s Crossing) Turturro, and his brother too. Probably the role that eventually made Samuel L. Jackson’s career, cause it led to him being cast in Pulp Fiction. And of course Halle Berry.
