Larkin for Matthew’s. Wings get a legit number one center. Yes down year last year but maybe getting out of Toronto might help him. Larkin is the worse captain ever. Got it handed to him because hes a Michigan boy and went to uofm for 7 months

No - Larkin is a terrible leader. And an overpaid 2C. Thank God he wants out so we don’t have to listen to this piece of shit cry and make every excuse in the book anymore all while withering away when the games actually matter.
He was never part of the timeline anyways. The real roster will be built around Raymond and Mo.
Hopefully we can move him for a capable C. Package him and some first for McDavid? 
But in reality, it’s good to have an actual NHL trade piece. He should fetch something good in return. Being able to package Larkin with other assets to get a really good player would be amazing.

I know a lot of people are going to think this is bad for the Wings. But I think this is a good thing. I don’t think Larkin is capable of being the leader of a playoff run team. He’s mentally soft and it shows in how the teams perform under his captaincy every single year when the games matter. Give the “C” to Seider and trade Larkin for Robert Thomas or something.
