This has been speculated since the trade for DeBrincat. I think this is probably enough to push them into legitimate playoff contention assuming they have semi-decent goaltending.

I agree! This will push them into playoff contention. Even if Kane is 75%. Won’t hurt the playoff case if he doesn’t work out. I believe it’s a low risk, high reward signing. I am glad Stevie is at least willing to give it a shot and made it work out!
