Space X

I’ll have to look into that.

1-bit quant runs on 223 GB VRAM.

The performance looks incredible, but that’s going to have to get WAAAAY smaller if they everyday people want to run that.

Fair enough, but do you really have any doubt that over time it will. IMO writing is on the wall. Closed frontier models may win the sprint but open source will win the marathon. And eventually open source locally on your device. Which is why I think that this data center madness will in time end with tears. Unsure of timing though.

It’s all about memory in my opinion. You can only quantize these models so far, but I’m sure there is some point where you simply have to sacrifice performance for accessibility with memory, and vice versa.

I do agree though that more powerful models will become smaller and smaller.

Would track with the history of computer science to date.

They will find an alternate use for all that capex compute one way or another if it does come to tears.

It’s so going to be surveillance and the autonomous defense industry.

Any guesses on bottom, they are at $156 in after hours right now, down from $225.

Upcoming…

Not sure what that means. Maybe you didn’t get much sleep that day. When it comes to investing, I know a lot, but never enough. The market changes daily. I do know at this point, based on what I have read, the SpaceX IPO was not illegal and for any peeps here, or on any other platform to keep repeating it was, is unfounded. For your sake, I hope you don’t take this as mansplaining. It’s just male individuals having discussions.

Thats the big play right now. Did you catch any of Microns quarterly report his week? Pretty strong. I have made a lot of money off of the ETFS DRAM and EWY so far this year, but I have lost on some crypto ETFS and stocks, I sold out of two of them yesteday and holding the rest for now.

It has a beta of 1. Which matches the DOW volatility rating. Meaning its not highly volatile, but also as I posted earlier in the thread, there is downward price pressure due to share lock ups. At this time, no one knows if the big bag holders will hold those shares or sell them. Is difficut to predict where the price will be in 30 days.

And then Elon owns the bulk of the rest of the shares, that he has to keep locked down for at least a year.

I know Net worth/ Wealth is NOT equal to cash BUT.

For context.

Elon is about to turn 55.

To make $1trillion from age 18 to 55. You would need to make $850 every SECOND! Just to put that into relatable context

I’m fairly interested at this point for a long term hold. On July 7 SPCX joins the Nas100 and that will bring in what I believe will be some serious institutional purchasing so it’s on for next week.

Now its too late to get mu or sndk so buy memory chip etf dram or ram on a down market today . For long term buy msft or google when pe is less than 25,but when pe reaches 30 you should sell. Ai crash might happen so keep cashb

Now back up over 12% of it’s low. Should do a steady march up until July 9th is my guess.

Most of his success was based off having money as a rich guy., who took control of Tesla from the original founders that actually had the vision for making electric vehicles viable.

I still believe that Tesla’s stock price will eventually plummet… though that will not be great for our 401k accounts.
