Drunkenmiller I believe describes every brewer in history.
in these times?

Damn. I even looked up the spelling prior and saw there was no n. Though I did initially give it the full microbrewer treatment of Drunkenmiller.
Then why are you alleging that Iām not properly keeping up with the thread if itās not even in the thread.
There are many that have the view that everyone should just lay back and think of England. Iām sure it will all be fine.
AI IN SPACE, PEOPLE.
Puff, puff, pass.
Obviously this is just the easiest way to Nuke things from orbit. Itās the only way to be sure. Pretty sure itāll be branded as The Ripley.
My guess at Muskās first target? Sam Altman.
Please donāt say you believe all of it!
Science is a moving target where conjecture is based upon the best evidence and facts available and that changes by the hour it seems. Itās like Schrodingerās cat, both alive and dead at the same time. The only thing Iām all in on is my family.
OK, its great to see you have a healthy attitude towards it, and it doesnāt sound like youād be affected by some of the utter nonsense trying to pass through FB as science.
I did not hold any Tesla. I also got shorted trying to buy 15 shares thru E*TRADE. I got a whopping 1 share at $135.00
Hmmm..Thatās ākind of a rude way to address a fellow Dennison just offering his opinion.ā
LOL..@ āmansplainingā used as a pejorative when men are talking about investing and markets on a sports board. Thatās a first for me seeing that term used like that. I think we have hit a social pot hole.
OK no harm no foul. While you are technically correct the point was less about the actual definition and more about the actual outcome.
I havenāt hit shit other running into a guy that is totally out of touch with what he actually knows.
I think this take is accurate but doesnāt change what I think about long term holding.
āTo own SpaceX here, you have to believe it can turn a US$19.3 billion, lossāmaking rocketsāandāStarlink business into a profitable AI and infrastructure platform while growing revenue far faster than the market and funding that growth with relatively little cash runway. The core nearāterm catalysts are still the first few earnings reports as a public company, progress on AI data centers and Starlink adoption, and how the share price reacts as large lockāup expiries start to add supply. The record IPO, rapid index inclusion and the US$60 billion Cursor deal have already sharpened concerns about dilution, capital intensity and execution risk across very different businesses. Roelof Bothaās arrival on the board fits that backdrop: it modestly strengthens governance and audit oversight, but it does not directly change the key financial or operational swing factors investors are focused on today.ā
itās crazy to me how much of our money has been throw in to everything musk has done (and lost or taken) and heās seen as a rugged self starter.
Whatās the point of having a giant equity hammer if you dont use it? Buy assets that help you leapfrog, issue bonds to pay off bridge loans, keep the CapEx firehose turned on. Build your lead further when you have a lead, no prevent defense. Plenty of dead companies that turtled up.
Berkshire can be the Giant Cash Pool waiting for the next value buy of Coke or Kraft or CN etc. These AI Boiz are sending a message.

This is crazy town..,
.
Nifty little graph I put together to take a look at possible large programmatic or lock up expiration buys and sells
