SA Choking away 3 games is very hard to watch,
Game 1- 15 point lead mid/late 3rd lose by 10
Game 2 - 11s left tie game. Wymby throws the ball away.
Game 4 - 29 point lead mid 3rd quarter. L
Like i would be fuming. Tv would be out the window

That might be the craziest game I’ve ever seen in any sport, it’s right up there considering the magnitude especially. I was telling my girlfriend who is a Knicks fan and kind of gave up when the Knicks were down 30 that it wasn’t over and if they could get it down to about 12-15 by the end of the 3rd that they have a legit shot to make a run at it. I didn’t think they would take it all the way in that fashion but I thought they had a shot once the Spurs stopped hitting threes at a ridiculous rate.

at some point, you just have to say its the knicks year. they just won;t be denied. when SA started missing shots early in the third, i said to my wife - the knicks are winning this game, as much as it pains me.

Can’t imagine blowing a lead like that in the 4th quarter…. At least the Cavs didn’t do it in the finals 
I have no idea what Fox was doing when the Spurs got the ball back with 13 seconds left. Just hold onto it.
He got fouled, should have went to free throw line anyways

The Spurs are young and that youth and inexperience showed late in that game. Fox was supposed to be that veteran leader and he looked like he was betting on the Knicks….he was the worst player on the floor in the 4th.!

I would severely limit his minutes and give them to Harper! Plus Castle being in foul trouble really affected his ability to go to the hoop, could see he was more worried about fouling out then attacking the paint.
But like said above, this felt like the 49ers game all over again!

never have I been more convinced all sports that make money, i.e. college and pro are rigged in some way. Wild swings in point and lead changes, suddenly incompetent/competent play or strategy, bad/no calls, evening up calls, billions and billions of dollars changing hands…
Listen enjoy it if you enjoy watching, it’s entertainment. Just remember when football season rolls around again.

Kind of glad the Spurs are losing. I hate that they were bad for one year and somehow win the lottery over the Pistons.
I’m also still a little sour from the refs gifting them the championship over the Pistons a decade ago

Between that hating the Knicks it’s exactly why I stopped watching the nba. Brunson is so talented. Watching him whine for fouls offsets even that talent. Unwatchable.

Well they were bad for more then one year! They went through a rough patch after Kawhi left…but as a fan of the Spurs since 1989, I can say that it is a little suspect that we won the lottery when another generational big was projected to go first.

Brunson is talented and way more likeable then a guy like SGA. Unfortunately the NBA has become a league of “over-selling” fouls and looking for them rather than actually playing. I really enjoy watching Castle and his toughness but I fear that he will be forced down that road as he is played very physically with limited calls. The unfortunate thing is that I have seen the impact the “new NBA” has had on the newer generations and its gonna get way worse before it gets better.
What happened to the good old day when I played and we tried dunking from the free throw line? For clarification i couldn’t dunk at all but that didn’t stop me in believing!

Live in game gambling has destroyed sports. Don’t be surprised when it still goes 7 games. I have watched zero of the finals. But it’s pretty clear this is all about money.
