It’s annoying at this point… I get big brother/little brother banter, and Ra is a good sport about it… But it’s embarrassing and cringey. All he had to do is show his bank account… I guess being humble isn’t part of Equanimeous’s makeup

I think that is apparent with his comments about Detroit to Ra previously. Think it is telling with him currently sitting as a free agent that he hasnt humbled himself, probably never will but i assume it is a false bravado thing at this pont.

I’ll watch Dan whenever possible but generally speaking those style of podcasts are just awful. If it’s an expert in a field dropping knowledge then sure but the straight up attention economy pods

I think it’s cool to hang out with your HC and speak some truths and have some laughs, and didn’t really mind if EQ was there in it, It is St’s brother.
I did too. But I enjoy anything Dan related. I usually skip St.’s podcast. If something of note happens it’ll be posted here.

I don’t watch them consistently at all. Completely guest dependent on if I do or don’t and I agree on anything MCDC and I will listen.
I did enjoy the ARSB proposal details and his only regret…

It’s not them specifically. I just don’t get the dude’s hanging out/catching up podcast format. I want to hear a war correspondent talk about Ukraine, an O&G logistics expert talk about the Strait of Hormuz, and Immuno-oncology expert talk about the challenges that MRNA vaccines need to overcome, an expert on Ancient Rome talk about under-discussed causes of the empire’s collapse … that kind of stuff. Some football stuff too but I’ve toned that down quite a bit bc I don’t find many to be all that informative.

I understand that and listen ro some of those as well, and have a cpl of Tiger ones that focus on Detroit’s minors.
I do like prospects podcasts. Draft as well but outside of the ringer guys I find most of the draft podcasts to be like getting teeth pulled from an entertainment standpoint. For instance, I love Dane but man he’s a tough listen.
As far as NFL stuff I enjoy Chris Long. Super knowledgeable but doesn’t take himself too seriously.

I like to listen to the Pride of Detroit podcast on my commute to/from work. I know Reisman annoys a lot of people here, and I find him annoying too, but it’s at least something.
I find it a better format than the sports talk shows on the FM radio. I’m not a local but I do like to listen to Valenti on Black Monday if a Lions coach is on the hot seat.
I enjoy Chris Long’s as well.
I have watched the Tigers Minor League report podcast with Roger and Chris and a few others.
But tbh I don’t watch/listen to many anymore. Just to busy
I will add that I saw that Siriusxm has now added local channels to their lineup including 97.?? channel out of Detroit. I listened the other day for a few minutes but not sure I can do the local shows anymore.

Everything you see on the Podcast about Dan is familiar, but he floors me every time in every setting with authentic humanity and joy. I swear Dan is the Second Coming.

I like Jeremy and Erick together. Whenever it’s the two of them I definitely listen. I like Jeremy bc he is such a good human being. Schlitt’s football takes are my favorite of that bunch.
That’s not the type of podcast I’m referring to. I get die hards listening to all of the topic specific stuff they can. I used to be that way as well.
