Congratulations to the Staffords on their COVID-19 efforts. I prefer people who don’t seek, or don’t allow, their own self-aggrandizement while doing charitable things – Matthew 6:2-4 and all that – but, kudos to them.
Now if he can carry his team to a division title or a playoff win every decade or so, that would be lovely, too.

I said multiple times good for them for the charitable work they’re doing. I then listed FOR MYSELF my preference that such work not be done for self-aggrandizement. And I try to live that in my own charity.
