Still wish we drafted Jalen Carter?

Sound like to me he’s hedging a bit. Initially he’s implying that Carter was making to death threats to his kid on social media. In the most recent post it’s simply that Carter contacted his kid on Instagram. What did the kid do? Is it possible or even likely that the kid hear’s the crazy sh!t that Carter said on the field without his dad explaining that he taunted him about his dead friend?

I just don’t buy that Carter went home and decided, “I think I’ll find that Offensive Guard’s son’s social media account and repeatedly threaten to kill him.”

Even if it was in response to the kid lashing out, we would have seen Carter’s posts surface publicly if they were truly as vile as Feliciano is implying

I bet Feliciano’s agent wishes he would shut up. He’s a FA and this public spat isn’t helping his cause. Maybe he’s trying to deflect from treating his teammate so deplorably in the public realm.

Carter is a f’cking moron and of questionable character. We already knew that. Now we know that he has some company.

That means he can back up that there was contact between.

If Jalen was telling an eight/ten year old that he was going to kill him don’t you think that would have surfaced publicly. My kid or his buddies would’ve screen shotted that and pushed it viral.

If there were death threats to his elementary school kid Feliciano or his wife would have gotten the police involved.

Both these guys are such morons. Just play ball.

They are both duechebags, so will leave it at that. Who brings up a fatal accident to begin with? Damn guys just shut your mouth and play the game.

Yea, not interested in a back and forth as both have issues and it’s all speculation to this point.

One is an immature, idiotic 22 year old. The other is a father entering his mid 30s. I have a higher standard for the latter. And it’s just an awful look for him going into FA. He had a good year from what I understand and has positioned himself to significantly advance his career earnings. He needs to shut his mouth.

To answer the direct question

I trust Holmes.

Carter would have likely solved a lot of issues on the DLine. But the overall draft was great for the Lions. Realize they enter this off season needing and looking for a game changing DT or DE. Now I get it maybe they plucked one from the CFL. But the problem did not go away just because you got other players that fit your mold.

The DLine is lacking and I am not confident that it can be fixed quickly with the current draft slots. A high prices FA may be the only way at this point.

Jalen Carter has a lot of the same issues as Alim McNeill. Sometimes he comes to play and sometimes he doesn’t. Runs hot and cold.

It all depends on who started it. If Jalen started spouting-off, I could totally see another player say, “Why don’t you go kill some more people”.
I doubt Feliciano started off with that.

Right. I don’t think either opted to be that gross from the get go. I’m sure it just escalated.

Jalen Carter is trending towards being Philly’s mashup of Nick Fairley and Shawn + Reggie Rogers…

Haha amazing. I might draft her though. We need a guard to replace Jonah.

The difference is that if Alim brought it every down he’d be a terrific player. If Jerome Carter brought it all the time he’d be a Hall of Fame player.

And I do think Alim’s motor is better. It’s just that prior to this last year his fitness level was not.

Only thing Is Feliciano just admitted to hangover tweeting so now it’s tough to know how reliable he is.

Like he wasn’t egging Carter on all game before laughing at the flag he got

I think anytime your talking about children being involved, you have to take that stuff seriously, one way or the other.

If Carter is dragging someone’s kids into the matter of on field stupidity, that’s a red flag and he needs to be suspended until a shrink green lights him.

If Feliciano is using his kids to smear Carter, his career should be over, period.

I’m not saying Carter didn’t do it

I’m just saying it’s possible Feliciano did enough to get under his skin

The laughing was a breaking point but not the build up. Like it’s always the second guy who gets caught.

Feliciano saying he hungover tweeted and dragged a team mate kinda puts Feliciano in a few stereotype boxes about olineman

not losing sleep because we didn’t get Carter…

I was the guy saying, “no thanks”, too many red flags.
