Listen, there is no such thing as a perfect candidate. If there were, they wouldn’t be coming to Detroit. Would Colbert be better than Quinn? Undoubtedly. Would he be the answer to all our hopes and prayers? I for one doubt it very much. If you’re looking for LB’s and WR’s drafted high, he’s your guy. Salary cap issues, look no further.

I will say in fairness to Stony, yeah he probably shouldn’t have said anything, but I do believe he trusted his source. Question is, is his source “as good” as the sources of the beat writers like birkett, Meinke, Rogers, etc?
I don’t think he did it in bad faith, and as a fan if I got that info from someone I trusted and had a microphone in front of me, I could see myself making that mistake too.

There’s no way we’ve made him an offer if we haven’t interview him yet.
