Gibbs, Campbell, Laporta, and Branch all in year 3. That’s a grand slam home run imo.
That is kind of a half assed study if your only going to count the first 2 rounds. The Lions are the best drafting team and we are not going to count St Brown, Alim. Kerby, Barnes? Those guys are better than most teams 1st round picks.

When you think about all the busts Quinn had and how few Brad and company have had it’s pretty crazy just how good the Lions have been. Especially in the first 3 rounds.

The best two players from Round 2 that year who were available when the Lions selected are Nick Bolton [58] and Creed Humphrey [63]. As to the latter, the Lions still had Ragnow.

Honestly I really think the committee approach helps keep the drafting in check.
And Levi was pretty solid last year for us. Injuries have of course been brutal for the guy
