That’s a great strategy, except I hate when shit teams do a QB change for a veteran or when the bum HC gets fired.

Also, at least in my pool, the Raiders are by far the most popular choice. 30% of people took them! The reason I’m still alive is because I’ve avoided the most popular pick (Cincy the first week, Baltimore this week). If they lose, it gives you a much better chance of winning the pool. It’s game theory stuff. I’m staying away from Vegas this week.

Regrettably I went out as well with Tampa. All of the favorites lost again. Vegas, Tampa, Cleveland, 49ers.
Yep, I was hemhawing between the Raiders or the Bucs. I would have lost either way.

well gentlemen, it’s over and I won!!! yes, I won and I’d like to thank all of you. I took Seattle at home over the Dolphins. I figured there’s no way a QB off the street is going to get it done. And I was right!!!
But this thread provided some great insight into multiple strategies. Be leary of vet QBs coming in and surprising everyone. Also, west coast teams traveling to play east coast teams.
It was just a small pot, only $100 bu I’ll take that over a kick in the teeth any day!!!
