If you’re going by stats, player-to player matchups, etc…this could make sense.
Buuuut…Consider what Foxy brings to the team → Confidence to our players, in knowing that if any trouble breaks out, big brother Foxy will smash anyone that touches you.
Consider the intimidation factor that the other team is experiencing.
Consider how much better our guys are from working with him all week, and just having the general knowledge that he’s on the sidelines in the event that he should be needed.
Last night’s game is a testament to how good our TEAM is, btw. They kept out best player off the field for 60 minutes and we STILL beat them.
Fans know it!

Also it could be that teams have decided it is better to play soft defense and let Lions score than let Foxy pin them down on the 1 and then give up a safety and a TD. 7 is better than 9.
