IF, and a big IF, Sanders drops to our pick, does Brad and Co at least think about it, or no fā€™ing way?

His supporters and haters are all over the place. Some same elite talent, give him a couple years, etc.

Others say bad seed, interviews horrible, only gets pub cuz of dad.

I have no idea, but just wondering if the lions would be intrigued or not. Our pick is so low, maybe a time to gamble?

Jack Sawyer, yes I said it. I donā€™t believe this is likely but heā€™s as Brad/Dan a guy as a Brad/Dan guy can get and would qualify as a real surprise. Too many people are listing guys that are mocked to go in the 1st, this is my real curveball selection.

I thought for sure The Villain was going to do that in Detroit last year. Some were saying he ā€œcouldnā€™tā€ do that because of all the fans in Detroit on Day 1, but of course that would be GM malpractice to not take what you believed to be the absolute best path for the team.

Iā€™m hoping Gutekunst succumbs to pressure to perform for the crowd.

Heā€™ll be an interesting test case. This FO has never drafted a fully-healthy player who skipped all the testing. Sawyer would be the first.
