I see the same issue as well….
and Lions definitely don’t excel with twists or stunts like other teams utilize. Broncos, Chiefs and all of teams with Ravens DC influence (Ravens, Seahawks, Chargers)

Also. It’s one game and people need to calm down. We’ll revisit in 18 hours. If we’re 1-1 then we’re rolling into Baltimore with house money. All opportunity from a board standpoint. We don’t expect to win but we also know that we’re nails in prime time. Just handle business tomorrow.
Alim will hopefully be rolling by playoffs. I like Mingo but I’m not ready to think of him as an interior pass rushing stalwart.

I like the cut of his jib. On a couple of the replays yesterday it showed him being double teamed and he couldn’t be budged.
Two pass deflections and was around the ball on when “Deon” Branch forced the fumble
I know he had a run stuff for a 2 yard loss and a few assists yet he’s not in anyone’s stats.
The Lions interior Dline has been stout. Will be lights out if Alim comes back with the same juice to get after the QB. But they are clogging up the run on the inside and getting decent push on Pass Rush reps. The DEs are starting to feast some which is an indication that the interior guys are pushing the pocket.
