I’m not crying you’re crying …
Decker is a man…
He’s almost 40.
Haha but seriously he deserves it. Dude played on so many garbage teams and kept fighting
Love that our team foundation is family
Means that much more I agree
When the staff talks about culture, this is what they are taking about. They are going to be very cautious on who they bring in. Even with free agents, they are going to be special players that have traits beyond football. Family is 1st and foremost with this team
I remember the great Joe Gibbs Redskins (yeah sorry but back then people weren’t so over sensitive) teams having identical values
When his parents named him Taylor they had to know this was a possibility.
I’ve never felt a connection like this with a sports team and I’ve been following 4 teams like a die hard for about 35 years now. I think the Bad Boy Pistons is the only team that measures up but I was too young to REALLY appreciate them like I am now after 35 years of mostly pain.
It truly feels like a team where we’re ALL in it together from ownership to management to coaches to players to media to fans to city. Yeah that might sound a bit corny but it truly feels like one big family fighting for one goal together. We can feel what Decker has been through because we’ve also been through the rough times together and I’m sure there were some tears shed beyond just Decker and some of the other long tenured Lions when they finally clinched. Not me, other people.
