Think the opinions of those you play for and with matter the most. Just as there was overwhelming negative feedback when MP was fired from the team and ex players there was a great deal feedback regarding Stafford. It would be nice if this would finally put to bed the conversation about his leadership and how players look at him…it won’t but it would be nice.

I’ve been told here numerous times that Stafford isn’t a leader.
Why would you think that some moron players’ opinions would trump the well-informed and well-articulated case made by some posters here?

It’s nice that he tried to play, but we got destroyed anyways. It’s time to shut him down for the year and let him watch the next 2 weeks. Really don’t want him getting hurt more, which will decrease his trade value more.

Glad he played and that he actually played well… If Hock/Swift don’t fumble in the red zone, this game would’ve been much closer. Matt played a little conservative, but he’s a warrior for even giving it a go… No one questions his toughness.

we were not going to win with Daniels the whole game period , Stafford was medically cleared to play, wanted to play, and gives every ounce of himself to the team and to trying to win. Matt gets pissed if he can’t be in the game helping…

- He said he isn’t going to shut it down, so he is going to play the final two games unless there is some type of injury.
- Right now the assumption by posters and media is that he is going to be traded. That does not mean that he is actually on his way out the door. If he is on his way out the door then it does hurt trade value to keep him out there. If he isn’t out the door and they have no intention of getting rid of him then this is just standard operating procedure. The only people who have actual facts and not speculation are Stafford and the remaining regime/ownership.

Nobody with any knowledge or understanding of what they are watching believes Stafford isn’t a leader. Yelling and screaming at teammates isn’t leadership. Matt is as good as it gets in that category.

Ain’t no way a competent GM or HC trades Stafford with 2 years left on his contract.
Stafford can demand a trade all he wants and if the higher ups say no, he’s stuck.
Not saying he’s the type to demand a trade but just saying… a GM like Holmes and HC like Lewis being able to identify good QBs moving forward will also want them to learn under stafford
