Players would leave the Lions and suddenly become good or very good.
I feel his pain but have zero sympathy. Until the Lions run this league for like a 15-20 year stretch I will feel nothing for the suffering of other fan bases. We Lions fans know true pain and suffering.

MCDC has transformed a bit as a coach. He was able to change the culture and have a winning team. Now he pounds other teams to submission depending on who they are. His analogy from Hard Knocks about dragging them out to the deep abyss fits here. Some teams just make it to the water.
Now, these Lions are good for one give up game a year. Patriots in 21, Carolina in 22, Ravens last year.
Maybe Dan hasn’t transformed, it’s who he always has been, he just has better players who are more comfortable with the system now.
Tennessee fans, I feel you. I respect those that remain. We have been there practically my entire long life. But it’s our time to shine.

I haven’t seen it anywhere but many forget that the Titans also traded away that 1st overall pick to the Rams who took Goff. That was the original who won the trade. Titans could have had Goff… Think they were still running with Mariota if memory serves.
