Sadly no different than the NFL and their guys being arrested or suspended for gambling. Guys making millions and can’t stop gambling. We’ll have to see if they were gambling on the NBA or not.

I tend to agree. It shows tho - opening week of the season and half the stadiums look half full. Some less than that. They took the league pass off YouTube TV while the nfl doubles down on YouTube TV. I just don’t understand what the nba is doing. Hell they have one of the greatest sports shows of all time going (inside the nba) and they’re trying their damnest to mess that up too!

I wonder if they call Chauncey Mr. Big Shot around the tables.
The mafia being involved in his poker actitivities makes it sound like the games were rigged. That would be the end of him. Why on Earth would he get involved with these people. Maybe they had something on him, like evidence of sports betting, and made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.

Have you watched his game in the NBA overall?
He is the trickiest of 1 trick ponies, doesn’t have much of a body and doesn’t give you Anything Else on the floor. Negative defense, not quick or fast, always below average Win Share score, VORP etc. Just hate his game. Stand in the corner and shoot 3s at 39% sounds good, but it’s not.
He shouldn’t be starting because Ivey and he shouldn’t be here because he was Beasley’s panic replacement. He is less useful than THJ, who was also a giant liability last year.
Plus, first time in a new city and new system after having 7 years to be comfy in his role in Miami. Now? Fish outta water. Hated the signing.
Outside influence on a coach is a big deal. Ask Pete Rose.
