While I’m sure this is happening in all sports with the amount of money being tossed around…..this is just more bad news for the NBA. The league was already losing fans because the product’s been slipping… with lazy effort, and officiating that feels all over the place. Half the time it doesn’t even feel genuine anymore. Now with the FBI arresting players over sports betting? That’s a whole new level of ugly. It makes you wonder if the games we’re watching are even real competition or just part of a bigger mess. The NBA used to feel special now it just feels fake. They’ve completely lost the magic that made us fall in love with them.
