All right so I having had a few minutes to think about it if I’m Mr big shot here’s what I do
I was contacted about an opportunity to earn some extra money through what was pitched to me as an appearance fee at a high stakes poker game.
Similar to other types of Sports Personality endorsement and off field Revenue deals, my participation was based on what I heard as an appearance and to play at the game. Which I did in different places at different times for again what I thought was simply an appearance fee.
At no time was I ever told did I ever learn did I have understand or have anything to do with any kind of cheating at these games and I’m just learning about those things now. I had nothing to do with any mafia figures I don’t know any mafia figures and I didn’t know any of the personalities at the table or if they were involved with any kind of organized crime. If I had I certainly would not have Associated myself for that situation at all. I would like to focus on clearing my good name by cooperating to the fullest extent with the FBI and the NBA so that my innocence can be proven and that my Integrity can be upheld.

Now maybe that works maybe it doesn’t but one thing for sure is going to get asked if he goes that route is whether he declared the appearance fee on his taxes, which is a whole nother can of worms and a different three letter agency

Hundreds of pro and aspiring screenwriters fired up their laptops today hoping to be first to market with a new movie pitch based on today’s revelations. I got one and was just about to spill it here, but I’m actually going to think about it before I do. Going to write a treatment this weekend for fun.

Listening to SiriusXM NBA channel and they start talking about something I totally forgot that was just 3 months ago about former NBA All-Star point guard Gilbert Arenas who is arrest for running an illegal high stakes poker ring out of his home in California with connections to Mafia figures.
He also has been on various social media in the past talking about game and Jones and his gambling habit….
Google some of that stuff up it is getting thicker and deeper
