Admittedly, he was my backup pick to Jwill in that 2nd round, and it looks like I went 1 outta 2 on that one. Hard, very hard to root for a Bear, but I hope the kid gets right quickly…
How do you trade a guy when the cats already out of the bag? “Wildly immature”?
All it takes is 1 team with a big ego that thinks they can change him. Either a coach that thinks he can do it or a GM who will put it on the coach to make it happen.
Raiders, Browns
Yup - This earmuffs guy can’t control his team. Fields in for another rough season. Bears get swept by Lions this year! NiiiicE!
You have a shot if the team you send him to has a veteran offensive line with strong leadership. The bears don’t have anything close to that. Answering to a room full of players like yourself isn’t nearly the same as going to a team like the eagles. Different story when you have 3 veteran all pro players getting in your face.
That will be part of the calculation teams will be making when thinking about trading for him. Of the ones that think they can turn him in the right direction there will obviously be 2 types of teams. Those that really do have what it takes, and those that just like to think they have what it takes.
Lovitz is so underrated…
I’m sure he’ll go to the Bucs, they’ll plug him in at Guard and help them win a Superbowl.
If you haven’t seen it, dig up High School High. It’s freaking hilarious!
He was one of my favorite OL coming out last year. This is why you have to give GMs the benefit of the doubt in many cases, we just don’t have access to the information they do. But, I would still trade a conditional 6th for him.
