Nah they’re not. Vikings had several insane comebacks and amazing QB play. Lions are a more solid team with worse QB play.
Kirk Cousins tied an NFL record with 8 4th quarter comebacks. Jared Goff has 3 this year.

I would take Goff over Cousin’s any day of the week. Very similar, but Jared has playoff wins (and isn’t credited for the game wolford started but Jared played in LA).
4th qb combacks require the team to be losing in the 4th. I’m happy if we aren’t.

32/32 GMs would take cousins over Goff. Cousins and Goff were tied in TDs heading into today and Cousins had 100 less attempts.
They aren’t similar…. At all. Cousins is one of the best QBs under pressure Goff one of the worst. Lions have a huge opportunity to sign Cousins the Michigan kid in the off-season and they need to go all in and get it done. It would be such a big upgrade.

Even the Vikings were trying to get rid of him. Might want him now. He cracks in the playoffs. They are very similar. I still take Goff. Cooler under pressure. They like each other and I respect Cousins, but it is not a clear win for Cousin’s. Jared is also a lot younger.

It is a clear win for Cousins. I get Lions fans love Goff but Cousins is much better. All you have to do is put on the film vs Niners this year. Goff isn’t capable of playing that well. The only 2 QBs better in the league are Mahomes and Allen. Cousins is the most underrated player in the history of the game.
Lots of great tape on Jared too. Guess you like to watch your guy. Best shoot out in MNF against Mahomes when he was in LA. They are similar - I’ll still take the player with the better playoff record. Goff has ice in his veins. I don’t think Cousin’s does and that was always the hit on him. Not regular season, but the playoffs.
People said the same thing about Stafford… until he won the Super Bowl
But Cousin’s had the horses. Stafford got them and performed.

I was thinking of years prior… he’s had great players for ages. You are also biased. Happy not to chat any longer as well. Everyone makes excuses for every QB but Jared. When Jared’s oline plays poorly, it’s on Jared. When guys drop passes, it on Jared. You can give your boy a pass, but I bet you blame jared unfairly like most do. If it makes you happy go for it.
